Design Intensive - 16 hours
Design Intensive is a design fundamentals workshop crafted to familiarize the participants without a formal design education with the basics of design. It is basically a primer course to get the participants started with experience design.

Design Exclusives - 8 hours each
Design for Print (Graphic Design overview)
Learn about the different printing processes, use of color, typography, layout and composition for various co-laterals in print design.
Web Design
Web Design Focus will explain the process of creating a website from requirements gathering to information architecture and navigation, importance of wireframes, visual design as well as cover latest trends in web design and development.
Desktop Application Design
This track focuses on explaining the critical difference in approach between designing for enterprise applications or RIA for the desktop as against web design.
Experience Design for Mobile Devices
Learn about the several design principles that are unique to mobile experience design. This Exclusive will focus on familiarizing students to principles and interaction design patterns that apply to mobile devices.

This workshop will cover how to detect touch capabilities on a device and what it takes to adapt a mobile UI to touch screens, the difference between assistive versus capacitive technologies and its impact on user experience.

User Experience practitioner, ad industry dropout, design educationist, graphic novel enthusiast, child rights supporter living and working in Bangalore - feeling a bit out of place in a land-locked city, having lived mostly a stone's throw away from coastal mangroves of Mumbai and Singapore.

Deepak, who after graduating from Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Art - Mumbai, did his Masters from Ivrea - Italy and then a few stints later is now a UX Designer with Yahoo! .

   
Uday Shankar Uday M. Shankar
 

A design connoisseur by nature, Uday likes playing with hacks and emerging trends in the technology space. He presently owns the Prototyping function in Yahoo! India. His achievements in the UI space includes having filed a UI Architecture Patent and contributing extensively to UI community. Best described as a UI Expert who understands UI Design & Engineering equally.

Uday started his career as a Journalist, before beginning work at technology companies as UI engineer is an MBA and learnt his basics in design & HCI from Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay. He can be found online on facebook, twitter and just about anything else as 'udayms'.

   
Anshuman Kumar Anshuman Kumar
 

A User Experience designer in Yahoo!, Anshuman currently works in the space of creating compelling Ad experiences for the web. He has also created solutions for mobile phones based on the way culture and languages influence the use of mobile phones. Anshuman is passionate about design education and has conducted several workshops & courses in NID Bangalore.

Originally an Architect, he moved to the technology space to create memorable experiences on a different kind of a canvas. He is deeply interested in Indian crafts, loves planes and is a self taught snooker player. Anshuman holds a Masters's Degree from Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay and a B.Arch from Govt. college of
